GSM Beach Trip to Sihanoukville
Runnath Narin, director of the Good Shepherd Mission orphanage, writes, "After a year of studying and working hard at school by the
children at GSM, the staff working at GSM thought we should drive our children to the beach so they can relax and have
a good time there. So on August 7-8, 2008 we took a trip to the beach at Sihanoukville. We left early on August 7, at 5 AM with our two
vans and one rented bus, and we arrived at the beach at 9 AM. We had a good beach that is called the 'Hawaii' beach with warm water and
nice winds. The children swam all day. Sophy (one of the cooks at Good Shepherd Mission) served the children seafood. We stayed one night
at a guest house, and in the morning went back to the beach to swim again. At about 3 PM we went back to GSM with dark skin. All the
children and staff enjoyed this trip."
