When we traveled to Good Shepherd Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in February 1998, we carried in several dozen copies of the New Testament. A copy was given
to each orphan at Good Shepherd Mission. In the image above, Runnath Narin is shown distributing the
copies of the New Testament to the children. Narin encouraged the children to take good care of their
new gift. Though printed in English, many of the orphans can already read their copy of the New Testament; all of
the children at Good Shepherd Mission are being taught English as a second language.
In the image below, eight video tapes are given to Good Shepherd Mission.
Four of the video tapes portray the events recorded in the book of Matthew; the remaining four video tapes
portray the events recorded in the book of Acts. Please pray that each of these video tapes will be
helpful in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in Cambodia!
Bill Green, a member of First Christian Church in Kernersville, North Carolina traveled to Cambodia and Thailand in
February 1998 with Pete Kunkle, who serves the Lord as minister of First
Christian Church in Kernersville. The two images below are of Bill during his visit with Pete to Cambodia.
In the first image, Bill is seen sharing a gift of money with children on a street in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In the
second image, Bill is seen presenting a shirt to one of the children that live at Good Shepherd Mission in
Phnom Penh. Shirts were donated to every child at Good Shepherd Mission by the members of First Christian Church in Kernersville who
support International Christian Mission.
