Evangelism in Cambodia
Year 2005 Update
"The Gathering" - January 2005
Four days of Bible teaching, singing, and fellowship that took place at Good Shepherd Mission.
The Gathering consisted of 200 Christians from local church congregations and cell groups that are ministered
to by ICM's indigenous evangelism team. This was the second Gathering to take place
at Good Shepherd Mission; the first Gathering took place in 2002.
In addition to caring for orphaned children, the work in Cambodia includes evangelism, the spreading
of the good news of Jesus Christ. Runnath Nara is shown in the image above with one of several motorbikes
that are used for traveling to towns and villages in Cambodia. Nara and the seven evangelists shown below travel to
these towns and villages, some of them hundreds of kilometers from Phnom Penh, and spread the good news of Jesus Christ,
winning many souls to Him. The evangelists also minister to groups of Christians who meet and
worship together where they live. The four men in the second image shown below began serving as
evangelists in March 1998.
Those who financially support the work of International Christian Mission in Cambodia are helping support these
Christian men as they spread the good news of Jesus Christ!
